Time Capsule

Terms of Service

Last updated: July 4, 2026

1. Who operates Time Capsule

Time Capsule is operated by CUFF Dev. Time Capsule is an independent product and is not owned, sponsored, endorsed, or operated by Discord.

2. What Time Capsule does

Time Capsule lets Discord server members create time-locked capsules containing messages, images, videos, files, and related scheduling metadata. Capsules may unlock privately or publicly depending on the settings selected by the user and server.

3. User responsibilities

You may use Time Capsule only for lawful, authorized, and community-appropriate purposes. Do not use Time Capsule to harass others, distribute illegal content, evade moderation, impersonate people or services, or violate Discord rules, server rules, or applicable law.

4. No credential requests

Time Capsule will never ask for Discord passwords, account tokens, bot tokens, API keys, or other credentials. Do not send credentials to CUFF Dev or enter them into any Time Capsule support channel.

5. Capsule content and moderation

Users are responsible for the content they seal. Server administrators may configure limits, delivery destinations, and moderation workflows. CUFF Dev may review reports, restrict access, delete capsules, or disable functionality when necessary to investigate abuse, comply with policy requirements, protect users, or maintain the service.

6. Direct messages and notifications

Time Capsule sends direct messages or channel messages only for capsule-related functionality, such as creation confirmations, delivery notifications, reports, or support workflows. Time Capsule does not send unsolicited marketing direct messages.

7. Paid features

Time Capsule may offer paid hosted features such as higher limits, media capsules, longer retention, customization, analytics, priority support, and advanced moderation. Paid features are intended to support Discord Premium Apps requirements in supported regions, including Discord purchase flows where required.

8. API data use

CUFF Dev uses Discord API data only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the stated Time Capsule functionality. CUFF Dev does not sell Discord API data, scrape or mine Discord services, or train AI models on Discord message content/API data.

9. Availability and changes

Time Capsule is provided as a hosted service that may change over time. CUFF Dev may add, remove, suspend, or modify features to improve reliability, comply with platform requirements, or respond to operational needs.

10. Deletion, reports, and support

To request deletion, report abuse, report a policy violation, or ask for support, contact CUFF Dev at support@cuff.dev. Include server IDs, user IDs, capsule IDs, and relevant context when available. Do not include passwords, tokens, or credentials.

11. Termination

CUFF Dev may suspend or terminate access to Time Capsule for abuse, policy violations, security risk, nonpayment, or service misuse. Users and server administrators may remove the bot from a server at any time through Discord.

12. Disclaimers

Time Capsule is provided without guarantees that every scheduled delivery will succeed. Delivery may be affected by Discord availability, permissions, deleted channels, deleted users, server settings, attachment availability, or other operational conditions.
